    Bhumika is an Articling student at Davison Law firm. She joined the firm in April 2021.

    Bhumika has gathered a wide range of experience while doing internships at law firms in India as part of her undergraduate Bachelor of Law degree. She has experience in contractual law, civil procedural law, corporate mergers, and Acquisition law. During these internships, she got the opportunity to develop her drafting and research skills. She also interned at the Center for World Trade Organisation, where she researched human rights laws and recommended policy changes for ongoing issues like exploitation of marine animals & Exclusive Economic Zones.

    During her graduate degree at UBC, she worked as a Research Assistant analysing and summarising legal philosophies. She used her creative skills to prepare interactive timelines to make the content of the Jurisprudence and Critical Perspective course more accessible to other students.

    She was the Vice President and the External Relations Coordinator for the Graduate Law Student Society at Allard Law, UBC where she organised various events for her fellow graduate students. She has been actively volunteering to promote legal literacy in different sects of society. Bhumika also volunteered for a Non-Governmental Organization, where she conducted workshops on issues like Child healthcare and welfare.

    After work, she loves to explore international films, different cuisines, and local thrift stores.
